biggrin.gif I have been taking lamictal for about a month now. Im currently taking 100 mg. each night. I have been having problems sleeping thru the night. Most of the time I wake up around 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. I used to take naps during the day, but now mostly I cant sleep when Im trying to nap. Has anyone else ever experienced these sleeplesness issues while taking lamictal?

Lamictal is at many a times associated with sleeplessness and long open eyed nights. You can take some actions on your own to prevent these feelings. You can try reading a boring novel or book. Try to make your bedroom as light or dim filled with good aroma.

Do not eat anything till about 1 hour before going to bed. There are many other tips which you find on http://www.depression-guide.com for reducing sleepless nights.

All the very best.

Thank you for your helpful feedback. My doctor put me on trazadone to help me sleep. It seems to be working.
