How to Get Rid of Racism

Racism starts when people started to take their prejudices to the next level. Similar to any “ism,” racism is an extreme behavior described by extreme hatred and prejudice towards other people with a different skin color. A lot of violent acts were 'justified' by racist concepts and ideas.Racism is a related term, sometimes intended to avoid these negative meanings.

Prevent for Racism

  • Stay your prejudices in check. keep in mind that color is only skin-deep, and should not be the sole basis of how to judge other people.
  • You should travel as much as to other places, and get a feel for the lifestyle.
  • Connect with cause-oriented and civic-oriented groups who advocate the fair and just treatment of other racial and ethnic groups.
  • Remembers people not to tell jokes with racist tones. They may find it funny, but most other people do not.
  • Avoid asking a known racist to a party or any social function. Create a firm stand that you do not tolerate or condone offensive, hateful remarks or jokes.
  • When a racist threatens physical violence, call a police officer immediately. Police may arrest the racist for making grave threats.
  • Do not hesitate to call a racist a 'racist'. stipulation he or she makes an unpleasant remark motivated by hatred or prejudice, then throw your diplomacy out the window.
  • Stay away from crop, establishments and businesses that promote or overlook racism. Never apply for a job at a company known for racially biased employment policies.
  • Explain your active support for racial and ethnic equality. Write to government officials about race problems that may take place in your community.
  • Eliminate nooses or other symbols of racism that may have been left around your neighborhood.
  • Avoid attend rallies or movements sponsored by racist movements.

Set realistic goals in light of the depression and assume a reasonable amount of responsibility.
