What is Descriptive Immediacy About?

One’s immediate feeling

Descriptive immediacy is a commonly referred to term in the mental health world. It refers particularly to the general immediate state that a person is dealing with. This includes either a physical or emotional state. It is essentially used to describe just how a person is feeling at a given point in time.

How is this used?

Descriptive immediacy is used with the intention of determining whether or not one is behaving in a suspicious manner. It can be used to determine if a person is acting in an unusual way at a given point in time to see if any unusual processes are going on in the mind.

However, this can be even more important considering how descriptive immediacy refers to how one responds to different types of actions. The way how a person is feeling after something occurs can be measured to help and see if one’s descriptive immediacy changes as a result of things. This can be used to determine if a person is working with normal mental processes or not.

The results are used in a unique manner

The results of a descriptive immediacy test can be used to determine if one’s mindset is working properly. The mindset can be reviewed to the point where a person might be feeling different about something or might not be responding to something in as immediate of a way as someone else might.

The results of a test should be used to determine if a person needs some kind of medical treatment to correct a mental issue. Sometimes medication is needed but the processes that are needed for treatment can vary by each person. This is a valuable part of mental health treatment for any person to take a look at. Descriptive immediacy can truly explain what one is thinking about at any time.

are the only options left,
and laughing feels better right now.
