Mental Abuse

Validation is required

Mental abuse is a harsh activity that can be found in a number of different ways. One of the most common ways how mental abuse can be seen comes from how a person is being hostile towards another at varying times. For example, a person who is dealing with mental abuse might feel that one’s feelings or ideas need to be validated by someone at all times. This is difficult because a person who has to get one’s ideas or thoughts validated by someone is clearly being a victim of mental abuse in that the person is being chained to another person’s ideas or beliefs.

When one blames another for everything

A common sign of mental abuse involves a person blaming another person for every sing thing that is wrong with that person’s life. This is a sign that a person is very hostile towards someone and wants that person to feel guilty about it at all times.

Fear is present

Fear is one of the most important signs of mental abuse to see. Fear can occur in a relationship in that it will involve a person being too afraid of doing things or thinking about things on one’s own. This can prove to be very difficult for a person to work with and should be greatly considered when it comes to mental abuse.

Free thinking is not involved

A person who is suffering from mental abuse is essentially going as far as throwing one’s original ideas away and focusing on what other people are thinking about anything else. This can be difficult to deal with because a person who is free thinking is not tied up with anyone. However, a person who is not free thinking will be stuck with believing in every single thing that one person is saying.

Sometimes crying or laughing
are the only options left,
and laughing feels better right now.
