How to Get Rid of Hypertension
TweetBlood pressure is raised due to increased cardiac output. When the heart pumps blood, the amount leaving the left ventricle of the heart meets resistance in the arteries. This happens due to constriction of blood vessels in them. Moreover the blood pressure can also increase because of an increase in the fluid volume of the arteries. A person suffering from very high blood pressure complains of feeling dizziness, experiences headaches, feels fatigued, weak and lack of sleep.
The mechanism of hypertension is explained in terms of the autonomous nervous system. With its sympathetic factors in particular as refereed to earlier, the stress factors cause autonomic activity leading to " Nerepinephrine" secretion. This when circulates through the blood stream, leaves sodium deposit on the arterial walls and muscles. Consequent upon high sodium deposit, the blood vessel overreacts to normal neural firings and brings about constriction raising blood pressure.
