Severe Depression does not indicate weak character and it should not be considered something shameful that needs to be hidden. Depression is not something that a person can control or prevent by willpower or determination. Severe Depression Self Help and support
One of the most insidious aspects of depression is that there is a tendency to attribute the symptoms to other factors in our lives. A lack of enjoyment, motivation or increased irritability at home may be considered to be due to a (possibly non-existent) problem with personal relationships. So, have faith, remember, you are not alone. Remember sadness is always temporary. This, too, shall pass.
Back to 'Severity' of Depression (mild, modearte, severe)
i think that psychotic depressed people have a lot in common with their past..their past personally might be responsible for their feeling or it can also be due to severe feelings of loneliness and recent incidents that might have a big deal to do with their depression...this includes hallucination..i think it is very sad that people are feeling really sad and that hallucinations are occuring..it isounds weird to certain people..but i think in scientific terms..hallucinations can be treated with psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.thank you for letting me share this comment.
