Diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome

     

The diagnosis of Asperger Syndrome is challenging task for doctors. AS has the following characteristics:

  5. Few facial expressions and they cannot read the body language of others

People with Asperger’s Syndrome can do all the regular functioning in everyday life and they are generally socially immature. They might seem to be odd, reserved or eccentric. Other common symptoms can include - motor delays, clumsiness, limited interests, and peculiar preoccupations.
Kids with AS are more mature and have no language delays as compared to Autistic kids. They have excellent language skills and have good command on the grammar and vocabulary. They have language issues while speaking or communicating in social atmosphere.
