Seizure response dogs as the name suggests are a different and speical type of canine or service dog who are trained to help people suffering from seizure. The training which the dog recieves is strenous and hard which makes them suitable for helping people with Seizure.

Seizure Response Dog reacts to a seizure early on its onset for which a human being may only have warning of coming seizure events. No concrete scientific explanation can prove how dogss can tell this, but many scientists have an opinion that the dogs sense changes in body chemistry in the person which is common characteristic when seizure occurs.

When a predictable warning is given about an impending seizure, a person can get to safety and can be more prepared when it comes. Seizure Alert Dogs are helpful for people who experience drop or falling seizures, which occur without any explicit warning and almost all the times leads to injury.

Unlike therapy dogs, seizure response dogs require specific training before they are ready to assist a person who is at risk of having epileptic seizures. This special training can take up to 18 months
