Deanxit

It is a combination of two psycho-active agents, flupentixol and melitracen, this binary drug have the properties to against depression. This drug should be taken within bounds if allowed by a specialist. And it is supposed for short term usage only. Deanxit is for the anxiety rather than the IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). It is produced by a Denmark company called Lucdbeck

How to Take Deanxit:

Take this medicine as directed. It can be taken with or without food. Do not stop taking this medicine abruptly without consulting with your doctor.

Deanxit Side Effects:

Some common side effects reported with this medicine include:

• Drowsiness or dizziness
• Dry mouth
• Constipation
• Weakness or tiredness
• Excitement or anxiety
• Insomnia
• Nightmares
• Changes in appetite or weight
• Nausea
• Blurred vision
• Headache
• Weight gain

Warnings and precautions for Deanxit :

• It should not be taken while taking any other antidepressant, particularly an MAOI.
• Talk with your physician or pharmacist if you are taking other medications.
• Tell your doctor and pharmacist if you are allergic to this medicine or any other drugs.
• Tell your doctor and pharmacist what prescription and nonprescription drugs you are taking especially anticoagulants; antihistamines; cimetidine; estrogens; fluoxetine; levodopa; lithium; MAO inhibitors, medication for high blood pressure, seizures, Parkinson's disease, diabetes, asthma, colds, or allergies; methylphenidate; muscle relaxants; oral contraceptives; sedatives; sleeping pills; thyroid medications; tranquilizers; and vitamins.
• Tell your doctor if you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding. If you become pregnant while taking this medicine, call your doctor immediately.
• This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Alcoholic beverages can increase the side effects of this medicine and should be avoided.
• Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this drug affects you.

What to do if you take Overdose of Deanxit?

Seek medical attention immediately. For non emergencies, contact your local or regional poison control center. The oversupply may also influence symptoms of weary concentration, confusedness, high or low body temperatures, agitation and vomiting. The symptoms of over dosage may also contain irregular heart beat, coma, convulsions and severely low blood pressure.

What to do if you take Missed Dose of Deanxit?

Take your next dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.

How to Store Deanxit:

Keep this medication in the container it came in, tightly closed, and out of the reach of children. Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture (not in the bathroom). Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Talk to your pharmacist about the proper disposal of your medication.

I am 25 year old women. I am mental suffering from depression from past 5 years. Recently the doctor modifiable my medication. He gave me 10mg of Cipralex and 10mg of Deanxit. I sleep for 8 hours throughout night, but though i feel same drowsy in the work. - Simon

hi, i used 1 pill of deanxit, it wasn't prescribed by doctor, but when i was in a vication, i was feeling little stressed so the farmasist gave me this. i felt really that helps, beside some headache and agitation, so my quastion, as it is not prescribed by doctor, and now i am feeling good, after two days we have party, can person after he stop this medecine for two days drink alcohol? i have one more question also can this medicine worsen the situation ot it is good medicine? thank u for help- Kristofor

Hi Krisofor, you can drink while taking Deanxit but you'll probably end up very drunk very quickly....it should only be given from a Doctor due to some cardiac side effects and history of bi polar illnesses in the family aswell as other things........but basically a few taken on holiday days before drink is fine...Seb

I have a question please, i have been passing through insomnia. so a friend (pediatric) told me to take Deanxit. So i took it but after 9 days (one pill per day) i was feeling bad and agitate and lots of fear, fear even of showering, I have never had those feeling ever. But because i am someone who struggles, i kept on taking the Deanxit (my supposed friend told me to take more 2/day) and things went worse (so i took it for 2 months all in all) untill i couldnt even sleep for more than 3 hours/night. so i told my friend that i was to stop it and i stopped it regularly. And when i stopped it, things went back to ok with sometimes fear when i go far from home.

Now, this year, after one year i am having the same agitations (is it the anniversary of taking Deanxit?) Meaning bu that, does the body remembers what happened one year ago and is agitated?.

Could the drug has partially damaged my nervous system? If yes, what i can do reverse the effect? I have now fear of taking airplanes. I remember once that i took Deanxit (7 years ago for 2 weeks) and after that i had the same fear of taking the plane. (when i took the Deanxit last year, i have forgotten what was the effect 7 years ago). I am 34 year old guy. i started working at the age of 25 as financial auditor and now i am a financial reporting consultant. I appreciate your answer to my problem since my life now is not easy with the agitation things.
