Marijuana for ADD - Adult ADHD Weed

Seriously?

It’s true, medical marijuana can work to help with controlling ADD symptoms. A number of different studies have found that different strains of marijuana that are grown with medical purposes in mind can work to help with relieving these symptoms. Marijuana will work by helping to relax the body and to allow a person’s attention to become focused on different things. This can work to ensure that a person who has ADD will be able to focus on many things in life.

Can this work in lieu of standard medications?

It has been found that medical marijuana can be just as effective as some regular kind of medication when it comes to treating ADD symptoms. These include such medications as Ritalin. The main thing about marijuana is that it will work to get a person to relieve one’s mind and to get it relaxed so the symptoms of ADD will not kick in as easily as it could. It is best to talk with a doctor about this plan though as it will work to see if this can work in lieu of some other type of product.

Aren’t there risks involved?

All treatments for ADD can have their own risks. For example, the use of this material to control ADD can cause a person to have a faster heart rate for a short period of time. In most cases the increase in one’s heart rate will last for about ten minutes. However, this is something that will make this a treatment that is not recommended for people with certain heart ailments.

Also, marijuana may cause irritation in the lungs. This is due to how the marijuana will have to be held in the lungs for a period of time in order for it to work properly in the body. This is something that may be too difficult for some people to deal with.

Depression Tip

Expect your mood to improve gradually, not immediately. Feeling better takes time.
