What is Ancraophobia? - Fear of wind

Ancraophobia also known as Anemophobia is the fear from wind and windy air. When the wind starts blowing on the face of the sufferer or he or she hears the wind blow, they start feeling butterflies in the stomach and get anxious. The symptoms like breathlessness, sweating, anxiety starts showing in the person.

Ancraophobia is attributed to some incident in the past which made the person fear of wind and its enormous power. They feel that the wind will blow them away and their belongings.

The cure is to gain the confidence of the person and reassuring him or her about the possible remedies.
