What is Gynophobia?

Gynophobia - Fear of women.

Also combined in this form of therapeutic massage were methods borrowed from reflexology and shiatsu with the overall aim of combining relaxation, stimulation and invigoration to promote ,good health. This massage is commonly used to induce general relaxation so that tensions, stress and anxiety can be eased and eliminated. It promotes a feeling of calmness and serenity and this is particularly beneficial to people suffering from anxiety or depression or phobia.

It leaves people feeling generally relaxed and this increases self-confidence and ability to deal with problems. Hence, massage can be of considerable benefit to phobic people and it would usually be used as part of a treatment programme.
