There have been quite a few people who never fear from the thunder and lightening. It may sound a bit oversaid, but the thunder and the lightening has similar effect of fear on almost all of us. The phobia of this fear from thunder and associated lightening is called as Brontophobia. The sufferer reacts abnormally when they hear thunder or when they see lightening. This is the advanced stage of the commonly found fear from lightening.

Brontophobia is attributed to some bizzare and traumatic incident in the past which has laid a lasting impression on the sufferer.
