Exercise would not normally be considered an alternative therapy since it should form part of a person's normal life activities but sadly this is not the case. It is impossible to overestimate the significance of exercise in a healthy and relaxed lifestyle. If a body is never pushed beyond its regular pace, relaxation periods will invariably have less benefit.
