What is Domatophobia ?
Domatophobia- Fear of houses or being in a house.(Eicophobia, Oikophobia)
Coueism technique itself is simple; the person chooses a time when he is feeling relaxed such as on first waking up in the morning. He tries to empty his mind of all distracting thoughts and repeats a simple phrase (either Coue's or another that is suitable) over and over again, either silently or out loud.
In the treatment of phobia, a suitable phrase can be worked out which helps the person to lessen or overcome his fear. The technique needs to be practised once or twice each day for as long as necessary and it is generally considered to be a safe and helpful form of treatment which enhances feelings of self-control and wellbeing.
