7 Famous People with Asperger's Syndrome

     

 

Michael Palin, the English comedian, actor and writer was famous for his work in comedy group Monty Python. Palin and Terry were famous together for their writings. "The Dead Parrot", "The Lumberjack Song", "The Spanish Inquisition" and "Spam" are some of the famous works of Palin. Ripping Yarns was also work of Palin together with Jones. Palin was the winner of BAFTA awards for Best Actor in Supporting role in the movie "A Fish Called Wanda". Palin was known to have Asperger's syndrome.

Temple Grandin figured in the Time Magazine list of 100 most influential people in the world in the year 2010. She appeared in the category called “Heroes.” She is a well known figure in the field of Animal Science. Grandin is an American autistic activist, author, professor at Colorado State University. While she was young she used to communicate with the world arund using humming and screaming as signs. A very caring nanny and right early education made her what she is and made her speak and flourish to become one of the most influential people in the world although she had Asperger’s syndrome

Lyricist and singer-songwriter James Taylor is a patient of Asperger's syndrome. He is a well performing guitarist as well. He has won Grammy Awards almost 5 times. He was a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in the 2000. "Fire and Rain" and "You've Got a Friend" are some of his most classical and famous works. His album of 1976 was judged as Diamond and it sold well over 12 million copies in the US.

The sensational Scottish singer Susan Boyle said in an interview that she was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome last year. Susan was famous for her sensational and inspirational debut in the third season of Britain's Got Talent, where she sang the song "I dreamed a dream" by Elaine Paige.

Daniel Tammet, the famous autistic genius, was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome while he was a child. He is the "prodigious savant”. He created a website called "Optimnem”. Tammet can speak 10 languages and is so good at numebrs that he can do manual calculation of 100 digit numbers without even using a calculator, pen or pencil. Quite amazing capabilities. He can learn a new language in a matter of 10 days and that too with very fluent ease.

Heather was born on 19 April 1986. She is an art student and fashion model in America. She was famous as a contestant at the America's Next Top Model, where she became 4th runners up. Kuzmich had Asperger syndrome and ADHD when she was in her adolescent years. The disease was diagnosed when she was 15 years. She was mentioned on the cover of Spectrum Magazine, which published her story and profile for the benefit of families and individuals suffering from autism or Asperger's Syndrome.

Lizzy is an English actress and famous for playing the role of Poppy in the television series - Dustbin Baby. She portrayed the role of an Asperger's Syndrome patient and she herself suffers from the illness since her childhood.
